• One WeeRide bike seat, free to a good home and as per https://weeride.co.uk/shop/weeride-safe-front-deluxe-baby-bike-seat-blue/

It fits most bikes and the covers can come off, to put in the wash. If anyone wanted to transport a child in it immediately, I can put it in the washing machine for you.

This is collection only, from SE22.

I'll try to reply promptly but with the weekend approaching, may be a bit busy.

    Andrew

  • Possible dibs just gonna check the specs and see if will fit

  • 2nd dibs

  • Not for drop bars so i'm out, thanks.

  • If @MCamb doesn't take it, I'd love it. Kid is outgrowing a Yepp Mini on partner's bike so that'd be up for grabs free soon in case anyone wants.

  • Unlikely thirds or would be interested @adamdenw in the Yepp mini if fits drop bar bikes?

  • Adam or @sharpeleven either of you keen on this? Can’t get it set up with any of my bikes :-)

  • Ah, sorry it didn't work out and thanks for passing it on. Yes, would love to try, I'll message tomorrow to sort if that's ok.

@sharpeleven I'll be in touch if this doesn't work or should be able to sort you with the Yepp Mini if it does (though for drop bars think it's going to be very tricky unless you've got a really, really high front end). Anyway, I'll message in next day or two. Cheers.

  • Thanks @adamdenw and @MCamb - if it doesn’t work out I’d love to try, with the yepp mini is the problem that your reach gets in the way of the baby or is it attaching it that’s the issue? I’ve only got drop bar bikes at the mo ..

  • Yeah, I reckon reach is the key thing but... the Yepp Mini also attaches, fixed, to the steerer tube so when the bike turns, the kid and seat turn so even less clearance for your arms & chin. With drops, for little babies, I'm not sure the options are that great. From 2 years approx, Shotgun, Mac-Ride etc and poss this one above (earlier too maybe) work on some drops too. Lots of people on here just get a dedicated old MTB for pottering with the kid. Good inspiration on the Mums & Dads page here: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/322577/

  • Hi, sorry to hear about the fitting issues. If it helps, herewith a picture with it on my old Gazelle. I've always used it with swept back bars.
I wouldn't recommend it but the upright position, meant that I could use it up until my child was much larger than the seat was intended for.
I felt more comfortable with this, than something where she was behind me.
