I have a spare Triumph (Raleigh) 20 folder in the garage. Will check condition and get pics over the weekend, if you don't find a non-folder.

Worth checking out the Dawes Kingpin group on Facebook as there's often posts of Kingpins for sale on there.

^ definitely try this - then you don't have to negotiate the foibles of the R20 threading (which isn't actually all that awkward, truth be told)

Depends what you want it for. Kingpin is much easier to modernise. Twenty is a far superior frame that can be built into a very capable little bike.

Thanks for the replies. I guess f+f would do the trick although the ability to be easy to modernise is important - would like to put some new-sih bits on there. Still doing some research on which model is the best for that.

If you go for a Twenty the BB shell needs to be cut to 73mm wide and threads recut if you want to fit a square taper bb, a alloy seatpost, the dropouts stretched to fit modern 406 wheels (a much better choice of tyres) and longer drop brakes fitted or go fixed gear and you’ll have a bomb proof bike.

Or I might also have some Phil Wood 26tpi rings that would work with a shimano un71 or un72 (or a Phil BB) - which is a nice, neat solution too.

Moulton F frame for the original classic small wheeled bike. The one Raleigh copied when they made the 20. There is a moulton group on Facebook.

I've converted both a Raleigh Twenty and a Dawes Kingpin,Kingpin was slightly easier, both more fun than a barrel of monkeys.
Worth reading thesehttps://www.sheldonbrown.com/raleigh-twenty.html

Good luck and enjoy.

Lovely bits of info here.
I actually had a Bobbin Shopper bought on here but sadly it was stolen. So still trying to scratch that itch. -

Still looking, just ruled out Raleigh Twentys as I dont necessarily want to deal with the different standards.

Still looking.
Hello! Looking for a shopper with 20” wheels - ideally something with at least one rack and non-foldable. Around London but could travel a bit. Thanks! Jan
