Adeline Stuart-Watt, an LSE academic working on climate issues, was killed by a motorcycle rider on Epping New Road last year. She may have been pushing her bike across the road, but this information only comes from a brief mention in an article about Cheistha Kochhar's recent death and may be unreliable, as it also says that she was hit by a car driver when at the inquest (see below) it was stated that she was hit by a motorcycle rider:

The above is the first time I saw any mention of Adeline Stuart-Watt's death. As happens these days, the crash didn't get any press coverage at the time, only this brief report from the inquest opening a month later:
https://www.essexlive.news/news/essex-news/pedestrian-killed-after-being-hit-8443232
I can't find anything on the outcome of the inquest. It was probably opened that day and hasn't resumed yet. This usually takes a year or more.
It's not clear where on Epping New Road the crash happened, only that it was between the Robin Hood roundabout and the Wake Arms roundabout. The motorcycle rider may have been travelling northbound, but it's not clear from the reports. Various forest paths cross the road in that stretch, but it may also have happened close to one of the roundabout junctions.
There's a tribute page to her here:

The LSE's announcement of her death--apart from the page above, no further tribute seems to have been posted:

RIP.
