Unless you split it you’ll be disappointed with the price you’d get for it.
2nd hand bike prices have plummeted over all, let alone if it’s got rim brakes.

Lovely bike

Agreed, asking way too much.

Tbh, I hadn’t seen his asking price. Was on the train with a dodgy signal.
I’m also no expert on prices at the best of times let alone in the current climate.
Wish the seller well but do think he’s best off splitting

Happy to hear offers, or what folk think would be a more realistic price.
I would really rather avoid splitting as I just end up with £300 worth of parts I can't shift sitting in a parts bin.

There were a couple of Enigmas recently asking £900-£1050.
There's a few great bikes listed for around 1k that aren't shifting. I'm practically giving a frameset away at the moment it must be the worst time ever for sellers -

Shiiiiiiiiit.
I might just keep it and get a gravel bike on Cycle to Work -

Agree on all ^ previous comments - keep it for a little while longer, the market is not best for sellers, rim brake bikes are two a penny and even nice titanium ones like yours are well below what they were a year or two ago. GLWS
Beautiful house though.

The good news is that new gravel bikes are heavily discounted at the moment aswell. Merlin for example have loads at 30%off right now so if you can get one on a work cycle scheme you can a lot bike for the money
Testing the water here.
I built this up about 8 years ago, rode it for a couple of lush summer rides and centuries etc but then I had kids and didn't get out so much.
Did a bit of commuting on it when the weather was good and I could take it inside the office.
Apart from that it has been criminally underused.
Then it sat in my office and was used as a Wahoo/Zwift rig through the pandemic.
It's all pitlocked and hexlocked for that London commuting flex.
It's in excellent condition.
No dints or dings, never crashed or pranged, regularly washed and lubed.
Next to no wear and tear.
I have just moved out of London to near the South Downs and am fixing for something more gravel-y so I can manage the shitty road surface and make the most of the paths and what not.
