My favourite coffee table book is Gregory Crewdson’s Cathedral of the Pines which my partner bought for me one Xmas after we had seen the exhibition at the photographers gallery.
Just looked at it online and it’s now £180-£250!? -

I have the TASCHEN Annie Leibovitz book, which is huge and if you fitted legs to it could be used as a coffee table.
I love it but it doesn’t fit very well on a shelf.. -

Wasn't there going to be a LFGSS Coffee table book...?

Partner hadn’t heard of him and had to be dragged along but was very impressed, I like them not just for the visual content but the big production behind the execution as I’m a photographer myself with an interest in film.
The prints were huge. -

His stuff is almost film set productions with the setup and stuff. Really cool!

A friend of mine just published this photo book, it's very nice if you're interested in Japanese hifi/jazz culture

I follow Jazz Kissa on instagram and am heading to Tokyo in the next year or so to sit drinking listening to vinyl replay jazz, that book is now on my Christmas list.

Liking the look of this, reminds me of Henrik Spohler's work

We don't have a coffee table but current fave on the coffee shelf is Jörg Brüggemann - Autobahn.
Actually just looking the above photo brought up another road related book by Michael Tewes which I'll be adding to the ever-growing wishlist.

I love this, I have the first edition and have the second on order (it sounds like the second edition has morphed into a bigger project than intended).

Randomly trawling the depths of the photography thread and saw mention of Matthias Heiderich. Good old eBay, £6 delivered.

.
Although no one has a coffee table anymore, I thought this a good place to share recommendations.
