I’d return it under same premise.
-
• #3
Ha, might be a bit late now unfortunately, don't think it would let me raise a second return request on the same item!
-
• #4
I don't think they have a very good reputation...

• #5
Frozen sausages it is.

• #6
Did you pay with Paypal?
-
• #7
Yes, that's a good point, I can dispute there presumably!

Great, just ordered from BikeInn...

Great, so basically advertising stock that they don't actually have

They always do that. I've had an order just sit there because one thing was out of stock.
No sending of the rest of the order. No email telling me they're not sending anything because of one thing. Nothing. They're can be pretty shit.

I've cancelled. Will look elsewhere. Their price was attractive, but meaningless if they don't actually have the item.

I returned something to them two weeks ago and am still waiting for a refund. They also charged me £11.99 to return it.
Not worth it in my view, won’t be using them again.

So, update, after two weeks of badgering them they have finally agreed to refund the missing item!
They have graciously stated "there is no need to return the item(s)" that I did not receive!

Ordered from Bournemouth Cycle Works after ringing to check they have it in stock (no image, and "only 1 left"). Assured they have it.
Get a call just now. Not in stock.
Cunts.

Have an order delayed by bike inn for this same reason of one item not actually being in stock. I was surprised when the status got updated last night of it being shipped with an expected delivery date of today. Tracking says the parcel is still in Spain…

Funny how some companies are completely different... the same happened to me with Condor... I sent them an image of the opened packaging and they sent out a new set of walkable cleats that had previously fallen out.

So TradeInn are crooks it appears!
Defo robbed me of money...advised to avoid IMO they got some serious tricks about non delivery of items. Absolutely twats..

Do the INN sites have import on their prices for expensive items? Or does that need to be added by me?
-
• #19
I’m sure they show the landed price.
I may not have ordered anything over that £135 (or whatever it is) threshold though.

It looks like it to me. But it’s a frameset size I can’t get here. So would be a not insignificant number.
-

I’ve ordered a few things off them and everything has arrived fine, but I asked them a q the other day and got a lame sarcastic response back from them. Nobs.

Probably on here 🤣
After two weeks of messaging back and forward TrekkInn (one of the many brands under TradeInn) have said unless I have proof the packaging was damaged they are going to close my claim and ignore me!
Basically, I received a package that was sealed and undamaged, I opened it to discover one of the items was missing and all I had was its empty open packaging and instructions so clearly the actual item fell out during the packaging process. Apparently, their system is flawless, all items were scanned out and the weight of the package was correct.
They seem to expect ever customer to film the unboxing process even if there is no reason to suspect loss in transit!
Is there anything I can do or am I screwed?
Thanks
