FS: Xmas clearout - sheepskin flying jacket and Barbour Beauchamp!!

My Christmas ckearout continues - this thread is for non-cycling jackets. Pick up from SW4 (evenings/weekends) or WC1X (lunchtimes), or I can post at cost (they are quite heavy!).

First up is a quality vintage (no idea of the year -sorry) Fenlands Leathers sheepskin leather flying jacket. It is a size small - I am usually a 38-40 chest and could wear this with a thin layer underneath (but it was always a bit small for me in truth). In excellent condition and slightly rare cross zip and ginger fur.
Not really sure what to ask - how about £75 to start?

Next up is a Barbour Beauchamp jacket in a size C38. I looked for one of these for ages, but could really have done with a C40!

It is one of their best jackets (and stands out against the more common versions) - it is the heavyweight waxed cotton outer, poachers pocket at the back, leather-bound hems etc. In excellent condition.

Asking £90 to start (cat not included - ge wouldn't get off!)

I have one of these jackets, agree it’s excellent and quite scarce, took me a while to find my size at a sensible price which was a lot more then £90 in same condition + it’s made in England. 👌 GLWS!

Is that a quilted Barbour?

took me a while to detect that was a cat and not a hood made with a cat fur :P

It has a quilted lower part and also quilted sleeves

Out of interest, did yours start out that light/sandy brown colour and you’ve just waxed it so it is darker? Or was it darker?

Are you talking about the cat or the jacket? ;-)

Re. the jacket - I bought it second-hand and haven't touched it, so can't really comment (I'd guess that it has be rewaxed so vintage Barbours have their own individual colour/patina.

Good to know. Thanks. Found a C40 and considering picking it up.

Always tough to tell from pics alone but my guess would be that this is a Sage green jacket, not an Olive green one. My old bedale looks exactly the same.
