This combo has been sitting in my cupboard doing sweet FA since I upgraded to AMD so it's time to move it on. Looking for £250 for the lot. Collection in SE11 or EC1R, but can meet in central if you give me enough notice!
ONLY THE COOLER REMAINS AT £40 COLLECTED
Intel i7-8700k Six cores, twelve threads; the OG knocking-on-5ghz door processor, K-series so unlocked for overclocking. I had this at 5ghz on all cores (non-AVX loads) on this mobo, but non-overclocked it'll run happily at 4.7ghz on all cores (and be a lot cooler). This was de-lidded professionally (i.e. I paid someone to do it) with liquid metal etc.
MSI Z370 Gaming Plus Motherboard A mid to upper tier gaming motherboard, 4 x ram slots, 1 x M.2 slot, 2 x PCI-X16 (gen3) and 6 x SATA ports. Enough poke to run (and overclock) the 8700k.
Stored in the original box w/ anti-static bag, instructions included.
Dark Rock Pro 4 Along with the Noctua NH-D14, this was the cooler to have with high-heat CPUs (it was also the only one in complete black at the time; Noctua hadn't released Chromax yet). Able to keep the above CPU at 60C during gaming with zero thermal throttling. The only reason I upgraded was I needed an offset cooler, otherwise I'd still be using it. Markings around the outside of the heatsink (pictured), but doesn't affect performance (thermal paste is the interface).
All mounting screws, fans, screwdriver and instructions included.
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot

For syntax highlighting, surround the code block with three backticks:
```
Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
If you upload more than 5 files we will display all attachments as thumbnails.
