Alfine 11 - Oil change or grease replacement?

Dear All

I am having issues with leaking oil from the drive side of my Alfine 11. I am replacing the relevant seals/dust cap etc but see on YouTube that some Alfine 11 users replace the oil with a NLGI 1.5 - 1.0 Lithium grease. It sounds like a good option to rid my self of ill leaks and seems to run effectively whatever the seasonal temperatures.
Just wondering if anyone out there has done anything similar?

The CTC/Cycling UK forums' IGH guru 'Brucey' used to swear by running the Shimano hubs in a semi-fluid grease rather than oil. This was the IGH megathread, but I'm pretty sure a search will bring up Alfine-specific ones as well: https://forum.cyclinguk.org/viewtopic.php?t=93935
