Lovely and that fork detail is exquisite. Too large for my mate unfortunately. GLWS

Nice. Is it 100/120 spacing?

^Good point.
I'll measure tonight but from memory it's around 95/115 - I managed to stretch out fork and rear to fit 100/120 size with no issues.
It worked fine with fixed rear wheel using Campag record pista hubs from 1960s. The rear dropouts are tight but will accept it with no filing.
The front dropouts though wouldn't take the Record fixed hub axles without the axles being filed down flat a bit. -

They are I imagine 98mm front and 115 rear, accepting hubs like BH Airlites and similar, which have thinner axels at 3/8" (roughly 9.5mm) vs 10mm Record ones.

Thanks - that sounds about right.
I tried older hubs (like a Philips) and they were a good fit but didn't want to build a wheel out of it. -

Lovely and a good price slightly to big for me unfortunately. The frame number was stamped on the bottom bracket after 1951, its probably hidden by the paint.

Thanks I'll have another look.
And the dropouts are 98mm front and around 115mm for the rear.

Nice to see a Gillott about - so here's bump : )
Way too big for me unfortunately. Very nice lugs and a lovely bike!
