Selling a 650b handbuilt wheelset. WTB Asym i29 rims, laced to an XT rear hub, and SP PL-8X dynamo hub on the front. Unsure of what spokes were used for the build. Setup with tubeless tape but currently running tubes. No axles included. Hub spacing is pretty standard: 12x100mm front / 12x142mm rear (were originally built for a Surly Midnight Special).
Originally built in summer 2018, and not used since 2021 (excuse the dust!), with about 6k KM on them total according to Strava. Rear hub runs smooth, the front hub a bit 'notchy' but i've not noticed any difference in ride feel or dynamo function, however, wouldn't rule out some maintenance in the future to get it running smoother again.
Looking for around £250. Sold without tyres, but would include these for an extra £45 (they have <5 miles on them and are essentially brand new).
Would prefer collection from Hackney (E8), or happy to meet in London if not too far away. Open to posting them if not.
