I have no say in this, but perhaps an appropriate forum donation might be considered by the people collecting? rather than free?

I don't know the situation but personally I would like some clarity on why someone is giving away hundreds of pounds worth of bike before I take it off them. Even if they're collection only at relatively short notice.

Maybe lt has their reasons and no need for them to state them on a public forum, but it does make me feel slightly worried for them.

A previously-active user who was into weightlifting (if you know, you know) gave away some nice builds not dissimilar from this. When I asked him in person about it, he said he really enjoyed building them, only enjoyed riding them a bit, and was happy to see them ridden off by someone new.
