Wanted: 56cm road frame

I'm looking for a 56cm road biased frame or possibly bike..must be willing to post as I'm East Mids. Should be in good to excellent condition, rim or disc considered, suitable for road and the odd work commute, so not massively aggressive geometry. I was really thinking modern aluminium, something not too precious, I've not had a lot of luck with carbon. Specialized Allez, Cinelli Experience, along those lines, but up for suggestions. I was thinking around £300 for the frame.

There’s a 56cm trek Madone on eBay (not mine) - collection from Birmingham - looks pretty unused, full carbon, ultegra, and I was just sent an offer of £430 by the seller so they will probably accept that if you offer it. Not sure if that is too much or not or whether you still would take carbon.

That indeed looks a bargain, thanks for link. I just don't get on with Trek, not sure why, but probably because I had Specialized only when younger. Also all but two carbon frames I have had have cracked so I think alu is for the best!
