Are the Morello decals lacquered on? Just wondering about the feasibility of relabelling it as a Colnago without a respray.

Nah they’re stickers…. Tbh though… if I wanted it to be a Colnago… I’d restore it

No longer for sale. I’m keeping it
NO LONGER FOR SALE - I’M KEEPING IT
OK bike #3 … This is a tricky one to price.. as to some it may be a travesty, and to others, an interesting and unique frame.
The frame and forks came from Italy – FCI code – 562
It has been painted and stickered as Morello. Presumably as a track rider didn’t have a sponsor and liked a Colnago Super Pista. (A friend had a Super Pista which had been professionally painted as a Bianchi for similar reasons – preference for Colnago)
Of course, this could be heresay bollocks... it's guesswork.
Personally I love it like this and was intending to restore it but as a Morello rather than Colnago… (see glittery gold illustration)
I rebuilt the logotype as a vector if anyone else had the same idea… image also attached)
Note this bike has NO BRAKE FIXINGS and shouldn’t have any drilled : )
it is currently set up as a very fun coaster brake cruiser. It was my daily in London and my pride and joy… but now I live in the very hilly environs of Bath, it hasn’t been ridden for 3.5 years. Much as I enjoy looking at it. I’d prefer someone rode it… and I’m gathering funds for Stigmata… so it’s time to wave it goodbye.
I have a barely used fixed rear wheel which I would like to sell with the bike if possible, although happy to discuss an either / or deal if necessary. I had the 3 wheels built at the same time.
Note – This was well used when I bought the frame… and as my previous daily it is by no means a showroom frame. It’s definitely used. Photos hopefully reflect that.
Frame and fork – Colnago Super Pista (in Morello disguise) – 58cm
Front wheel – TB14 on Paul hub
Rear wheel – TB14 on Czech Coaster hub
Additional Rear wheel – TB14 on Fixed Paul hub
Bars – velorange
Bar tape and ends – Brooks (Cork ends are knackered, I have plastic Brooks replacements you can have)
Crankset – RD2 messenger (sadly I had a gorgeous vintage Sugino Super Mighty to go on this but managed to lose it in a house move - bellend)
Stem – Nitto Pearl
Seatpost – Nitto S65
Saddle – Super Corsa
Like I said it’s difficult to know how to price this. I’d like to get £1000. Having bought and sold various bikes and parts on this forum I’m well aware the knowledge base is huge and can help me out if that seems wildly unreasonable. But it is a Super Pista : )
This doesn’t include all 3 wheels, that’s a separate negotiation.
Obviously a donation to the forum goes along with the sale.
This bike will be advertised only here first… if no takers I’ll go to the ‘bay. My Master Pista didn’t go when advertised on here although it got plenty of love.. and it went immediately when I moved it to Ebay.
Bike is based in Bath.
Prefer not to post.
Can deliver locally
Not splitting aside from wheel discussions as there are 3 : )
