I've been using this as a pub bike but it's a little too small.
3x7 gears and 26” wheels. It’s too small for me at 6ft3. I’d suggest this is suitable for someone in the range of 5ft8-6ft1 but I’m not an expert when it comes to old mtb sizing.
It’s in decent condition. The paint has seen better days and there is a bit of surface rust but there’s no dents or cracks in the frame. While I’ve owned this it’s been stored inside consistently. The cantilever brakes work fine but will probably need servicing soon. The 3x7 shimano gears all work fine - the front derailleur can be a pain to shift sometimes but once it’s shifted it’s no problem. I tend to stay in the big ring anyway.
It’s got a quill stem adapter and a modern stem. I’ve added a shim to adapt this stem to smaller diameter bars. This has been perfectly fine while I’ve been riding it but can include the old stem that’s suitable for smaller diameter bars if I can find it.
Collection only from Finsbury Park area, London N4. Come and take it for a spin.
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot
