WTD- large commuter

Hi there,
Looking to help build my mate up a commuter. Thinking a single speed type thing would suit him best (genesis day one/ langster type thing). Size large and closer to Bristol the better. Nothing too fancy as trying to keep budget low. Let me know what you’ve got ! Cheers

It's a 22" Dawes Countryman from 1987.

I'd imagine as it's 26" wheel, it may be on the small side with regards to what you're looking for. It's too big for me and I'm just over 5' 8".

I may be open to splitting it if you just want the frame and forks. It will include the BB and headset.

This any good? There's a single speed freewheel on the wheelset as well so would just need a rear brake to make it SS instead of fixed. Can remove/include whatever array of parts you see here
