Nearly what you're after, this is a tap, not chaser. They may have a chaser with 'bottom lead' ie very little lead-in at the bottom. I have a rare Royce crankset (that was appaz once stolen by an employee from Cliff's workshop YIKES I bought it from a certain well-known vintage dealer), one of them has no remover threads and i've been meaning to get round to sorting it with this tap^. I imagine I'd need to chase it too. Maybe we could team up for the chaser?

I imagine that actually with the flat area/taper interface, below the remover area, that these threads are probably made with one of these

Nice! I managed to sort it a tapered crank puller. Might give RJ’s tool a go too, as I’m skint atm.
I want to attempt to repair my crank arm thread. This tool is impossible to find online.
If you happen to own one, let me know if I can borrow.
