I would also like to buy a 3 person tent, even if tatty.

My friend borrowed mine for a festival and decided the only way to deal with a broken zip was to hack through the canvas with a knife. Not sure he was all there.

Anything available?

Potentially nicer than you're after but I've an MSR elixir 3. Used once for a week with my ex and dog. Tiny bit of bike grease to the bag, and tiny bit of mud to underside, but no damage. SE15. Current RRP is £440 so ... £225?

Sorry about the ex, hope you kept the dog. I'd be worried if there wasn't bike grease and a bit of mud :)

That's about double what I was looking to pay, though appreciate MSR as a brand. It's £308 new though at the mo on some sites

Will speak to the friend and see how he feels about spending a little more cos if it's my £100+ and his guilt money we might be able to get somewhere!
