   (I overhauled the hub a few years ago and has worked great since although haven't used the hub for a while. i have the original grip shifter as well as a sturmey archer down tube shifter i can throw in. i also have the original sprocket which was like a 2ot)

How does an eu43 come up in these? My understanding is that's a uk9 but looking at giro sizing, they seem to say uk8.5?

i'd say it's more of an 8.5
