Italians: always interested in style but usually about 10 years behind... everybody knows silver groups are cool again

Yes, and here is a comment of Nicola Baggio, head of marketing at Campagnolo
One thing Baggio shot down emphatically was the possibility of some sort of neo-retro mechanical groupset offering the latest shifting and braking performance, but with a more classically-styled polished aluminum finish.
“*As a company, we want to look forward. We have to consider trends in the bike market, which is not going in this direction. We don’t want to build heritage, niche products. That’s not the way; that’s not where we want to be. We want to be a premium brand driven by innovation. The heritage story is something that is clearly identified with Campagnolo, but our future is to look forward rather than behind.*”I get the point of not being labelled as "Nostalgia Product", but first they are and yes they might very well miss a trend and a visibility that they miss currently!

I thought Campag had been discontinued about 10 years ago. ;-P
Campagnolo is phasing out the Centaur. Just a warning if someone was planning to buy one as it is still rather available but will disappear.
Great groupset for classic build in silver.
