This is the sort of thing I want to end up with. Maybe…

I’ve made a start clearing behind the ‘cart house’ with the idea of putting a lean to shed on the back, but the area is a bit small than I’d hoped for. So I think a sturdy cupboard to hold the canoe and all it’s gubbins is the way forward, as it just about fits in the space.

Episode 1 of season 1 done.
A whole load of effort for something that I’m going to let the hedge grow through to hide it, but if it mines I don’t have to run through the fields chasing loony Dolly before she gets on to the road it’ll be worth it. Oh and hopefully it should stop that bloody deer that comes in the garden and eats our veg!

A muntjac will probably be discouraged by your endeavours and new fence.
Not certain if Roe deer can jump higher than this fence.
I'm assuming you are not hosts to Fallow or Red deer. -

It’s mainly muntjac ( Barky little twats) Chinese water deer ( vampire freaks) but here are reds (real deer) across the road in the grounds of the big house. The hedge behind is about 2m deep so we should be fine, just hoping Dolly doesn’t realise she can climb…

Out here, in north west London, we don't (yet) get the Chinese Water deer, (any photos?),
but,
there are reports of Red deer a few miles south west in Iver.
Is the hedge prickly?
Hawthorn and Blackthorn can discourage deer. -

dibs
It’s time to tackle corner dumping ground in the garden. I’ve got to put up a fence to keep in the unstoppable force that is Dolly, now to do that I need to get behind the shed.
The shed is full of crap. The shed is also rotten and falling down.
The ‘cart house’ is also full of crap.
As is behind them both. So I’ve started to sort them out and pretty up the area. There may be an outside kitchen eating area and I’m now informed there could be chickens involved. You’ll know more once I know more.
First let’s see what we’ve got.
