Use metal hacksaw they do the same job

And a mask - the dust is nasty

But it needs to be a high tpi blade. Go for at least a 24tpi for a cleaner cut

Oh ok,
So you reckon there would be no difference to do it with high tpi saw?
Always assumed it would matter as the blades seem so different - one has teeth and the other is basically sandpaper finish on a metal blade.
It's my first nice fork I have ever owned, so kinda reluctant, but if there's no difference might just use that. -

Theyll do the same, ive used metal hacksaw million times and never had an issue, just slowly cut round and you’ll set

Definitely be fine with a hacksaw, 24tpi blade is better. I put cable ties either side of the cut mark to help guide the saw too cos I'm cack handed.
