• For sale is my Brother Track Reynolds 725 custom build. Selling to make space for another road bike. I actually built this up years ago and never really used it due to house renovations and this being kept in storage and then getting into road bikes like the older gentleman I am these days.

    Component list
Brother Cycles R725 frame & drilled fork in 58cm
    Velo Orange Alloy Threaded Headset
    Gran Compe Quill Stem
Dia Compe BRS 100 Front Brake
    Dia Compe Lever
    Brooks Bar tape
    Nitto 36cm Bar
Mavic Open Pros laced to Gran Compe hubs
    3TTT Seatpost (I think)
Brick Lane Bikes Super Pista Crankset

Chain could probably do with some TLC as there's small spots of rust on it.

Looking for around £750. Will happily arrange postage TBC

PS: Apologies for the slack chain

  • Hi. Hope you’re well. If this post is still going can you tell me crank arm length please?
    Many thanks.

  • I certainly can - they're 165cm cranks. I think I was worried about toe overlap when I built it as I'd built two previous bikes with that issue. Can't pretend I knew anything about them being more efficent as modern bike techs now preach!

  • Cheers. No, all I know about the shorter crank arms is they are more convenient. How is the toe overlap? My last had more than I like, an used to, and it made me a little nervous in slow traffic.

  • Lovely build.

  • Generally pretty good I have to say - I've never had any issues with it at all. I can get some measurements to you shortly. I have a circa 51-52cm Vivalo frame (also going up for sale soon) and the toe overlap on that is immediately noticeable the minute you get to a T junction. I've come a cropper thanks to it more than once on that bike!

  • Hi. Thanks for that. The wheel base, with back wheel slammed, measurement, or bb to to front, which ever makes more sense.
    Many thanks.

  • If you're looking for detailed analysis on the frames geometry then you're probably best heading here than using my measurement as it's bound to be more accurate than I can achieve with a tape measure.

  • Cheers. Probably but too much toe overlap. Thanks for the link.

  • Bump on this - still for sale, would be willing to part with it for ~£550

  • That’s a sweet ride. Love the seat cluster.

    GLWS.
