I'm touring with my club in Belgium in a few weeks and the route takes in most of the famous Flandrian climbs (Paterberg, Kwaremont, Koppenberg etc). I've decided the 52/36 with 11-32 I'm running, while fine for Essex and Kent, ain't gonna cut the mustard on 20% cobbled climbs.
I don't think I'll get a much bigger cassette on the back, my RD already struggles with the 32. Looking for 105 R7000 chainrings in 50/34 or, failing that, an equivalent chainset with 50/34 and 175/172.5mm crank length.
Not too bothered about the condition provided it has 'some life' as I'll only be using it for a few days.
Has anybody got anything?
Cheers,
