Hi there - I have a dog trailer that I'm not happy with - the "hitch" just doesn't look safe to me - would you mind sending some close-ups of the hitch on yours? How does it actually fit to the frame, and how does it "articulate" as you ride? (mins just moves on a steel spring and I'm honestlly worried it'll snap!) - ta

I was tempted until:
ready for a well-behaved pup
That's not going to work unfortunately.
Edit: was actually tempted but just had a look and my dog is too big. GLWS!

Hi velocipede65,
Here are some closeups of the hitch. It also has a spring that articulates, but it seems quite sturdy. There is a strap that loops through the chainstay as a backup catch if it were to fail.
The end of the hitch connects to any thru-axle with a mount. I'm happy to throw mine in if it's compatible with your bike—it is 1.5mm thread pitch: https://www.messingschlager.com/en/products/hub-accessories_t48/m-wave-stalwart-axle-shimano-thru-axle-with-lever_a640140?

Still for sale, £90.
Selling my medium size Petsafe dog trailer. Unfortunately, my dog did not take well to riding in a trailer. It has only been on a few short (unsuccessful) test rides.
It's been vaccuumed clean of all dog hair, and is ready for a well-behaved pup.
£100, collection from SE23.
