Hello and happy Sunday,
So the story goes, i have a "vintage" aerospoke, that came with an old 8spd freewheel on it. And i would like to update it to 9s so that i can use it on a couple bikes.
The problem is that this, no doubt proprietry, free hub has strange "old" dimensions and finding a 9s replacement is not super simple.
It has been suggested that i use a Miche cassette as their 9s are said to fit also 8s campy hubs. But if i could go shimano it would help out for the kind of set up i want.
Of course pretty much ABSOLUTELY NO ONE gives a complete spec sheet with dimensions when searching online.
Now don't think i'm a crazy person looking for the impossible as i've seen a few aerospokes with 9s cassettes on so i know its a thing but again, no one has posted how they got there or what freehub they used.
So basically if anyone has any knowledge or know where i can find a similar freehub let me know !
