Quite nice - Campag / Mavic GP4 Tubular Wheels

  • Is anybody on here still into their retro stuff?

How about these non matchy (more modern rear hub with 8 speed cassette) on GP4 tubulars. As new tyres. Minty condition.

Price: £200? Or let me know if I’m out.

  • Lovely
Unfortunately I’ve exceeded my wheel-collection limit and am now temporarily banned

  • 😆

    Is that your lounge?

  • Oh 😆 Brilliant

I see your route to couch between the brown and yellow bikes is something of a assault course!

  • Plenty of bikes to sit on, who needs chairs

  • The wheel/tyre leg rest is a particularly tasteful addition that should be marketed for the masses..!

  • Blimey, I thought I had a few wheels to spare.

  • You’re a bit out for a pair of mismatched tubs. GP4 are solid rims of course and they look to be in excellent condition, but not hard to find.

To maximise the chances of a sale, you might try and identify that rear hub, in case it’s something higher end (looks possibly Chorus, but if it’s higher end that might help justify the price) and also work out if it will take a 9/10/11 cassette.

Identifying the tyres, if they’re something more exotic than Vittoria Rallys might help too (if Rallys, then probably not!).

Hope a useful guide. EBay pricing might be more forgiving, esp if you go for VINTAGE marketing…
