I'd be interested in bits off that Kona if you end up splitting
-

Which bits specifically? I would be keen to shot the wheels and potentially mudguards right now.
The rear is an xtr hub and the front is a son Dynamo, both on 32h ADHN rims built recently by my LBS. Looking for £150 for the wheels and £40 for the VO mudguards. The latter were bought about two months ago

Potentially interested in the kona frameset if you split, what size is it?
-

I probably won’t split the whole thing if I’m honest unless the price is right - the frame is a 19”. I’m 6 foot and it fits me fine.

What size is the Evil?
-
• #7
I can’t seem to find a size chart for the Evil. I was told when I bought it that it was the long version - I think short and long were the only two sizes IIRC.
I’ve been riding it at Forest of Dean, I’m 6 foot and I haven’t died.
Sorry for the slightly unhelpful reply. If you want me to measure, I can do but obviously the geo makes it hard to get a true understanding of how it fits/rides.
I spent a shocking amount of money on this recently at the LBS and everything works great and it rides well too.
If you want to test ride, you are more than welcome to pop some wheelies down my road - just LMK

Are the sliding drop outs in the kona a custom job?
-
• #12
Some horrible cunt stole the Evil from our flat last night so no longer for sale. If anyone sees this fro sale online, I would be grateful for a PM. Let the games begin.
Explosif is still for sale.

Sorry for the delayed response and no - the sliding dropouts were standard on the explosif and unit frames in 2006/2007 and maybe other years too. This is an '06.

Is the explosif still around by any chance?

Long gone!
Speculative sale of these two bikes to make room - based in Bristol and looking for £550 on the Explosif and £600 on the Evil. Can post.
Two terrible photos - will try and take some better ones this week.
The Evil is in really good condition for the age (2004) has 853 tubing and manuals/jumps like a dream. The 36s are plush and the parts are good quality - burgtec stem with ride wide bars, Chris King headset, hope tubeless wheelset, brand X dropper, sram guide T brakes etc
The Explosif is decent too with Son Dynamo and Edelux hub, King headset, Thomson post, VO mudguards, surly sunrise bars, steel salsa stem. Gears need some attention but I can sort that/knock money off accordingly.
