Was right behind a collision last night where a cyclist who jumped a red light knocked down a pedestrian who was crossing. Happened travelling southbound at the lights just after Exton Street.I was slowing and another cyclist went past me quite fast, jumped the light and hit the pedestrian shortly after they had stepped off the path. Pedestrian stayed lying in the road with complaints about his back so a few of us waited with them (including the cyclist) and blocked the lane of traffic so vehicles were driven around them. Ambulance and crew arrived and put the pedestrian onto a board and then stretcher to load into the ambulance. I had checked my camera and had it all on there so asked one of the ambulance crew what would be best. They told me police would arrive but didn’t know when so I offered my details which they took. Don’t know if I’ll get a call or email but will wait and see. Hopefully the pedestrian will be ok.
