Hi Simon,
I’m heading to Malaga in spring next year for a wedding. I think I’ll have a chance to ride just once. Did you manage to do your rides? If so, anything in particular that you’d recommend?
Thanks!

All of the above are good, I did a second week of day rides where I added these two, including an improved (but harder) El Chorro route.
El Chorro: https://goo.gl/maps/UcgCq6M1MafXkjME6
Villaneuva de Cauche: https://goo.gl/maps/g69EhCv5xngXPXjE8If you've only got one day then then probably the Comares route from the top post gives you the best taste of the area, some sea views and ends with a 15km descent back into town whch will put a smile on your face. You can get lunch in Comares, Riogordo or Colmenar depending on progress and your on quiet roads once you leave the city.
The El Torcal and El Chorro routes are also great (you see Caminito del Rey on the latter) but the latter is quite a bit further, and they both involve a fairly dull/flat 25km back into the city at the end.
Enjoy the trip, I'll no doubt be back there at some point next year

Thanks mate! That’s really useful. Was leaning towards Comares, so will do that if I can fit it in.
Heading to Malaga in November, normally do a tour up into Sierra Nevada but have a city hotel for 6 nights this time so just doing day rides. I've come up with the following but if anyone has better ideas please feel free to suggest?
Cheers
Simon
