note the lack of spokes.
An innovative decision.
Presumably hubs made from rare earth permanent magnets?
Expect a strong weightweenies following for this thread. -

Do they ride nice? From what I’ve read they’re great for pootling along on all day as opposed to the chain gang self flaggelation type of riding.
Any idea of max tyre clearance?
Put up a pic of yours 👍 -

I can (just) get 28c GP4000s in but have to deflat ehe rear to put the wheel in and the front rubs a bit on the fork crown. Need to take a file to the fork crown over winter, only needs the sliveriest sliver taking off.
The ride is really nice. Compliant without being theleast bit noodly. But no, not harsh at all.
Although I'm not a great judge of these things, this is only my third road bike in 30 years. Rather pathetic I know, considering the company!
I need to clean it up a bit, then I'll get a pic (or 2) up -

This will be up for sale soon due to house renovation
Full build is 2022 chorus 12 speed sub compact
op / cx ray / record wheels
never ridden by me!
I bought another steel frame off eBay which was HAF and also too long in the TT for me so sent it back.
In the meantime some eBay searching snagged be my first ever carbon frame/forks that I’ll actually build and ride in my 52nd year.
I sold off all my wheels, groupsets a while back so need to start from scratch...
Anyway here goes .
2011/12 Look 566 in a size L which has a long HT and relatively shorter TT @edscoble.
It’s almost brand new and was a fab deal.
Here it is mocked up - note the lack of spokes.
I have a pair of carbon/ti pedals that’ll match, wheels will be silver OP, black CXrays, silver record hubs.
Bars will be Ritchey neo classics.
Need to find a groupset....
