It's a nice frame but just so you know, it's not a track frame. It's a road frame for gears, which is no bad thing.

Kinda crazy that Hackney Peddler would sell you an almost £1k bike that obviously doesn't fit.Sell the frame, keep the parts and look for a bargain small(er) frame on here.I doubt a road conversion build has ever sold for more than £400 on this forum.

Just wanted to get rid of my bike so I can build my own and have the money to buy components for a new frame.
I was trying to give you helpful advice.

I can't really tell what happened due to the edits but classifieds section really does have a community feel. That means people look out for hucksters and obstinate sellers who aren't interested in adjusting their prices based on feedback - that will make for a rowdy thread. The positive side of the classifieds community is that people put things up for sale, learn how much they are really worth, maybe learn something they didn't know otherwise, and have had some new interactions with people on the forum. You learn names, who knows what about which bike (and non-bike) bits. People will tolerate a lot in here but it's not far off to say that what people won't tolerate is intolerance (or arrogance).
So as a new fixed rider and new on here don't be quick to dash off, there's good stuff around. FWIW I massively overpaid for my first fixed and I had to basically give it away :(

I think buying a completely incorrectly sized bike is almost a fixed gear right of passage. And learning that your bike isn’t worth as much as you’d hoped is something that happens to everyone (even with this knowledge I still had to knock 20% off the last bike I sold because I overpriced it initially).
As pointed out, you won’t get much for parts selling here, but the flip side is that you can pick stuff up a lot cheaper than elsewhere - so hopefully you won’t need as much as you think.
Also, if you do want to build up a bike yourself, just sell the frame and fork and swap the bits over, no real need for new components. -

You used to own a fixed gear?
kept that quiet
Once again, no longer selling here due to rude comments. I am a new member, also new to fixed gear and biking community. Hence, my knowledge is limited. It’s quite unpleasant to see the reception. Just wanted to get rid of my bike so I can build my own and have the money to buy components for a new frame.
