1 x pair of PD-M785
Do these ones give a wider q-factor? Is the axle wider than normal?
-
• #4
I think it's an optical illusion from the slimmer axle, but I'll go measure :-)
-

Nope, Q-factor is the same on all of these pedals
Which might be part of why I'm enjoying flat pedals at the moment

Ah ok, the axle looked nice and looong which would have been nice.
I’ve been running flat pedals on my gravel bike recently too. It feels great and made me think I’d maybe benefit from wider q-factor if I go back to spd. -

I certainly prefer a slightly wider stance now. There's a big jump in Q-factor from road/gravel cranks to mtb, and no easy way to fit larger chainrings to modern external mtb cranks
