I didn't appreciate the heat and the unruly long and complex tether cable.
There were games on the oculus that I was really envious of, ultimately id go for a ps5 vr3 or an apple one.I'm not bothered by my wired headset, but there are a few wireless options. Occulus Quest, of course, and the better two out of the HTC Vive offerings work with a snap-on wireless adapter (which limits you to 90FPS but frankly a lot of VR games will struggle to get that fast anyway unless your other gear - CPU, GPU etc - are all top range).
Starting this thread because VR is an interesting thing that quite a few people here are either already trying or thinking about. Could talk about it in the Video Games thread but that would risk seriously pissing other people off.
