I have a 1x SR chainset but it came off a road bike so I guess may not be what you're after for your MTB due to the tooth count being high typical of road bikes? But if you don't mind I can send you pics.

Quick and dirty fix would be to remove the outer and inner chainrings and replace the middle with a narrow wide chainring, would likely need single chainring bolts or washers

Any use to you? I’m afraid it wouldn’t come with the chainring, but it would come with the left hand crank! It’s 110bcd so realatively easy to find chainring for. I cut the granny ring bolt posts down so it could sit closer in for a better 1x chainline.

Looking for a 1x chainset to replace the 3x I have on my retro 26" beatery thing. Something cheap and cheerful so I can ditch the FD and chainset would be wonderful. Square taper ideal unless it comes with a BB.

In Falkirk so unless you're local which is unlikely, posting required please and thanks!
