  • I might be wrong, but this may be the most expensive bike posted on the forum.

  • Should I feel guilty or something? :)

  • Well on the one hand, it’s about my size…

  • Is Peter Sagan himself included in the trade?

  • If you don't mind me asking, if you're selling for £9000, how much did it cost you?!

  • Mike how can you beat the Peter sagan SL7 sworks .must be something special.

  • Nice but very pricey. How much without the bottlecages?

  • Internet suggests 13.2k new. Not far off mark if running 12 speed Da. Imo

  • proper nodder bike.

  • Alas, 9100 is last gen so it’s only 11/12ths as fast as the latest model

Got an S-Works SL6 with ‘only’ 11sp Ultegra Di2 and none of the fancy CeramicSpeed trimmings this has. It’s awesome. This is eye wateringly expensive but so nice

  • I'm very glad to hear this Simon!

  • Pricey compared to what? To a Ridley on a mechanical group set?
I don't agree that my asking price is out of proportion. If you look around on the market there are similar SL7s with lower spec for £8725.

Also as @plus_one pointed out a new SL7 will cost you over 13k and you would only get this in Dec 2023 most probably.

  • Hey I didn't say overpriced, I just said pricey. I also said it was nice and was effectively giving you a free bump.

Selling luxury goods is a tricky business and I wish you GLWS

  • Hah! Cheers for a free bump. Came across too many people who feel entitled for a "low" price just because...sorry for the passive aggressive tone if this came out like that. :) All the best.

  • Peter Sagan himself

Dibs if he can do the dishes and comes in full team kit

  • I believe with that price can clean the gutters too (winter is coming).

  • a new SL7 will cost you over 13k

I find this a bit mind boggling

Would be interesting to do some kind of price comparison between top flight bikes now, in 2010, in 2000 etc accounting for inflation

  • Are you going to include mountain bikes in that? £1,400 for a pair of forks is, erm, eye-opening.

  • Would be interesting thoroughly depressing to do some kind of price comparison between top flight bikes now, in 2010, in 2000 etc accounting for inflation

  • An SL4 Di2 S Works was £8500 in 2013 when released, which is approx £10800 in 2022 money

  • £1,400 for a pair of forks is, erm, eye-opening.

Try adding another crown onto them, then seeing what they cost

  • Gents, nine grand is tremendous value for money.
Never mind that the SL8 is likely just round the corner…

Edit: undibs. Reason: Scoble brick drop fail. Is that even one whole brick?
#bdhu conviction also probably in the public interest

    Lovely bike. Glws :)

  • If i am not mistaken, this is the type of bike that Aphilippe was world champ on ?

    Glws

  • Try adding another crown onto them, then seeing what they cost

I'll find out if I win the current Enduro-MTB magazine contest. However, I don't think that that is likely tbh.
