but wheels really take a beating on this thing)!
You don’t want Miche then!
The lockring thread is not the common one but I don’t think it’s as rare as the Mavic one either. If you bought a Miche lockring and it doesn’t work maybe the threads are stripped/worn?

Sure it’s a cheap wheel but still quite an upgrade from the crap I was using :-)
The threads are brand new.
I think I may have found a solution. The Miche lockring I have is 33.6x24tpi.
Apparently some miche hubs used a 32.6x24tpi. Sods law it’s the one that’s out of stock almost everywhere.
I’ve ordered one so if it works it’ll buy me a bit of time. If it’s still no good I’ll just get something built. Or maybe nick the Dura Ace / H Plus off the winter bike and upgrade those. -

I had this issue a little while back. EBay ended up being the only place where I found one in stock

For anyone who might benefit from this in the future; here’s the correct lockring…
I think in a bind the more common 1.29" rings might work but wouldn't skid on one and wouldn't crank one up too tight!
The only difference I can see is that while the 33.6mm Miche ring is far too big as it's 1.32", the correct ring below, actually translates to nearer 1.28" and is a nice snug fit.

The rear wheel on my commuter is trash. I got a Miche xpress rear wheel for £20 which is barely used.
Bargain thinks me!
I find that a dura ace lockring won't fit; it's very slightly too sloppy.
A quick last minute google last night and I find a bunch of sites that say 'Miche use a different thread to others, you need this etc'. So I ordered a Miche lockring for next day delivery.
It turns up today and it's WAY too big; slips right over all the lockring threads.
This tells me there is obviously now a third standard! Does anyone have any clue as to what I need to buy?
I'm already at breaking point and trying hard not to just dump a bunch of cash on a wheel that would be far too good for commuting on (to be fair, the rest of the bike is quite nice but wheels really take a beating on this thing)! Thanks.
