Coming from a long line of specialized powers, I can tell you that you should accept nothing other than a Fabric Line-S

Coming from a long line of specialized powers
How much of a diff there is between power and power arc?
-
• #4
About 5% (going off current prices).

Fairly different I think. Same overall vibe but power is quite flat side to side whereas arc is curved. I can only do the flatter ones or I get sharp shooting pains where I don't want em

I have 3 powers that I will be selling soonish. They're sick saddles but I want something less firm and the fabric fits that bill.
That said I have done a couple of 300kms on powers with only mild agony -

I did think about a power. How are they in terms of firmness? I have a Toupe on my cross bike and that’s soft enough.
It’s the plasticky stuff you get on loads of short nose saddles that’s the problem.

Depends which level one you get. The cheaper ones are softer than the spenny ones

Holla on one of the cheaper powers when you get rid of them. I’ll take.

Likewise, although you’re quite a lot skinnier than me so it’s possible I need something a wider size hahaa

I’ll echo the cheaper power saddles being quite a bit more comfy than the high end ones, they just have more padding.
I’ve been using a power mimic saddle on my gravel bike. It’s definitely better than the normal power saddle on my road bike. Keeping my eye out for another mimic on eBay.

If you go to a Spesh dealer ask em to check your bum geometry, essentially sitting on a pad then measuring the distance between your sit bones.
I'm quite skinny but a 155mm saddle is so much comfier than the 143mm I had previously. -

I’m also quite skinny, but I’m also 6 ft 4 which makes for a big booty haha. Usually ride a 145mm.
Give me your recommendations for a short nose saddle (245mmish) that actually has some padding for my pampered derrière.
Currently on Selle Italia Novus Boost Superflow, which suits me down to the ground, but want something a little shorter.
Tried a Selle Model X Superflow but it felt like a medieval torture device to my sit bones.
Cheers,
