An e-bike

It's my father in law's 70th this summer so we'd like to get him an ebike. The budget (c. £700) doesn't stretch to a new one, so I'm looking second hand. Does anyone have something?

London - but willing to travel if it's worth it. He's in Dorset so it'll be taken down that way eventually, so if it's over that way even better.

Are you looking for pedal assist (legal), or pedelec?

definately legal. preferably quite boring hybrid / trecking sort of thing (it's for his 70th birthday) but suitable for cycling about hilly dorest.
