The Tanwall Racers have a lighter folding Kevlar bead rather than steel.
My go to is the Continental ContactUrban which is a better all rounder (no pun intended). -

Will the conti’s fit under mudguards? Like the look of them, but haven’t taken the plunge..
Also what’s the puncture resistance like ? -

Yes the current ones with the silver reflective strip do.
It was the pre production ones with black reflective strip that had clearance issues.
They roll really well and have decent comfort.
If you want the Tanwall look then sit tight a few more weeks. 🤫 -

That’s quite an old comparison predating the ContactUrban and in 700c sizes.

Got a pair of schwalbe marathon, non tan wall and chunky- good condition, £15 the pair. Dm me if keen
What do people like and what have people got kicking about for sale?
I think for practicality/cool dude points I really want marathon racers in tan wall. Anyone got some they don't want so I don't have to pay 50 quid a pop from brompton/sjs?
Also, can anyone confirm for me categorically that the 25 quid more they cost that normal marathon racers is literally JUST for the tan walls?
Thanks
