FS - Another clearout

Getting rid of some stuff. 10 points if you can guess the theme that links most of these items (and no, 'bicycle' would be too easy).

All items for pick up from SE22.

1. a 36T 104BCD 4-bolt Hope narrow wide alloy chainring in a lovely silver. Good condition, maybe 200km on it at worst.£12 SOLD
   
2. A pair of Tektro Rl-520's. These are long-pull drop-bar brakes designed for cantis or v-brakes. Hardly used, with brake cables. £10
   
3. A lovely 90's Specialized MTB alloy flatbar with a slight backsweep (7°ish) in polished silver, 560mm wide. Some light scratches and one particular heavily scratched 1" patch. 25.6mm clamp diameter. £8 SOLD
   
4. Gunmetal-coloured polished alloy stem with a 25.4mm handlebar clamp, normal stem clamp. 130mm length, 17° rise. £5
   
5. On-one Brian alloy handlebars in 420mm width end-to-end, 31.8mm clamp. Flared drop bars, a bit of scarring from the brake lever clamp. £Beer
   
6. Uno alloy stem, 31.8mm diameter, 70mm, 35°. £Beer SOLD
   
7. An STX front derailleur from the 90s, marked FD-MC34, for a triple chainring set-up (I believe). 31.8mm band-on. Pretty good condition, some small surface rust spots in places but mostly a nice shiny bit of kit. £5
   
8. A pair of alloy SPD clipless MTB pedals, dual-sided. Bearings good, no rust, bit weighty. £5
   
9. A Shimano 7-speed stem shifter for a normal-diameter quill stem. Front shifter is friction (so whatever speed you desire), rear is indexed. Never used, still boxed, with shifter cables. £5
   
10. Red procraft bar tape. Boxed, unused. £Beer
    
11. An Alivio 104BCD triple crankset 22-32-44, chainrings unused, cranks lightly used. Alloy, a bit weighty, might be good for a beater (matches the Hope chainring...) £8
    
12. A 12-25 9 speed sunrace cassette. Came off my first ever road bike. Maybe 800km on it (at a stretch) - pretty good condition. £5
    
13. Selle Italia Flite TM Manganese rail saddle. Used once, didn't fit. £10

How long is this? Also, seconds on the hope chainring.

The cranks are 170mm
