GONE: Electric bass, give away in exchange for forum donation

A friend bumped into some people moving out who were about to put this in a skip in Hackney in 2008. She gave it to me and I fixed the electrics, put on a new pick guard and put some nice Rotosound strings on. It's solid and plays beautifully. Branding is 'Ninja', which bass forums say was the brand put on surplus Fender basses when they stopped making them in Japan. I can't confirm that and it seems a bit implausible, but it's a nice instrument with a straight neck and stays in tune for ages.

As it was free to me I'm giving it away in exchange for a forum donation.

Comes with a Stagg backpack style soft case and the strap shown.

Collect only from Highbury N5.

Interested (always fancied learning bass + I can try to accompany mini c00ps on her strat!). How feasible is riding with it in the the backpack?

Looking at the neck it appears a really well made instrument. Not dissimilar to the JV series basses.
