• Selling this ti ride for a friend. Seatpost raised for a test ride. Wow! If only I was shorter.
It’s a Jack Laverack Ti frame model J.ARK built in Oct 2015. Size 52cm 49/50

    Build:
Hope (black), seat collar, headset and Bottom Bracket.
    Dura Ace chainset – 50 34 170mm
Ultegra rs685 shifters and disc calipers ( a little surface rust on the caliper bolts, but still accessible)
Ultegra 6800 front and rear mechs (rear mech has some sratches but still shifts flawlessy)
    FSA Carbon seat post
Whisky fork with mudguard mounts (post mount)
DT swiss spline CL wheels (tubeless ready) (front 15mm thru, Rear QR) running gravelking 32mm – I believe clearance is for 38mm
I’ve thrown on my 160 hope rotors and longer stem and bars ( I wanted this for myself really, but it’s not feasible) Will come with 160 avid rotors and an old Easton FSA combo up front. (the bolts on the stem have surface rust too but I was still able to remove okay.
There are a few scratches on frame and on shifters and mechs, but does not detract from the ride.
    Pedals not included.
    Stack 553cm
    Reach 370cm
    52 cm. Geometry Link

    Frame and Fork RRP £2775.
Selling for £2,200 ONO plus delivery.
Based in Cornwall so appreciate not ideal for test ride etc, but am heading to Oxfordshire in two weeks if that helps. Can add more pics on request or PM me for anything else.

  • Price drop on complete £2,000 plus postage.

We could split if that works? But would need to sell frame first.

Frame, fork, bb, headset, carbon seatpost - £1350
Wheels, tyres, avid rotors - £300
    Groupset - £400

If we’re out on these prices let me know.

  • I'd say it's priced well. I don't really get the value and appeal of ti frames compared to good steel but this is a bit of a bargain when you consider it would have cost around 8k new.

  • Thanks @Rastapopoulos

I’m a steel frame rider but test riding this ti frame, even though it isn’t the right size, was a great experience.

  • How tall is your friend? What's the normal seat height on that bike? (BB - top of saddle)

  • @Hmjb 5 foot 9 (175cm). Not sure if this is 100% accurate as I’ve moved it up and down, but from the seatpost faint dirt mark it looks like he had it set up at 70cm top of saddle to middle of bb.

I’m 183cm and I can nearly make this work too!

  • Sorely tempted. Need to shift something, otherwise I'll be at n bikes.

  • I’m sure you’ll find room ;-)
