SOLD: Gios Compact 50th Anniversary 55/55 Now £450

My sale continues, reducing the number of bikes and stuff:
Campaq Chorus 10sp Groupset. Size 55/55 ctc. Bought here couple of years ago with stuck seatpost & bb and various other bits that were not moving or past their usability time.

Few month of dripping penetrating oil into siezed bits did not make a difference so up north to John the seatpost man it went, while BB was taken out by my LBS and their 3 feet long steel bar.

Replaced bb, seatpost, headset, chainset, brake calipers, wheelset plus all the consumables while the rest got a full stripdown, repair and rebuild treatment. Wheels are Vento G3s on 27mm Vittoria Paves, hardly any miles made since put on.

Frame was cleaned and shiny rear & seat stays polished for hours and days on, paint touched by Gios nail varnish paint from their Turin shop - not entirely same of course as they never are- while top of forks were can sprayed black, all in hope one day it could be taken to Turin for a full refurb, not counting on bloody lockdowns etc. Does not look that bad from a little distance and would be OK for a while. I think.
Asking £550>£525>£450, hope that's agreeable and if I'm out let me know too. Slough based, but would move it closer to town. Splitting OK if enough interest for frame & wheels. For more pics and info please PM.
