WTD: (betting odds of finding) 28h tubular (vintage?) carbon rear rim

Definitely "wanted" rather "needed", but this would be the final piece to properly finally finish a build.

Attached pic is the 'vintage' carbon aesthetic I currently have on the front, so looking for a match.

Also just interested in what advice on the relative scarcity / likelihood of finding such an item.

I've got a set in 650c - that's probably even more niche than you are looking for. Tubulars too

Well, what a coincidence !

I was looking through the bike store and found a pair of brand new 28 hole, 50mm glossy finish 700C carbon sprint rims that were crash spares for a batch of track wheels that were built up some time ago but never needed.

I will look them out again and take some snaps for you ..

There are also a pair of 28 hole Sheriff Star track hubs to go with them :-)

Tried taking some snaps of glossy carbon rims in the dark, not good so will get some in the day light when I get back home this afternoon for you .

Belated snaps of the 28 hole carbon tubular rims.

They are 60mm deep and 22mm wide and worked well with Vittoria Pista EVO tubulars .

@allister I'd be interested in them if @ufundo declines! Failing that, if they only want one I'll take the other. Interested in a rear hub too :)

Does the rear hub need to be 28 hole, small flange, single sided fix with lock ring and made in Italy 50 years ago ?

I'd rather they were black and a bit more modern tbh! But I know you've got some Goldtec ones in the parts bin ;)

Didn't realise you had some lovely rims to lace them to though - very much interested in a rear hub & one of these rims as long as @ufundo doesn't want both of them.

Ah yes, the black more modern ones, they would make up a nice pair of track wheels....

Shame if you had just the one lonely wheel though .....

No further note of interest from @ufundo though .
