GONE > Freecycle Reynolds 531SL frame (damaged) 57ctc

Lightweight racer frame from 1978, custom build from 531 SL (predecessor of 531 Pro) with dented top tube. Not collision damaged as discussed with owner of my LBS, more likely something fell on it. Will live on though.- 57 seat tube/55 top tube ctc

Forks are toast - cut off siezed stem in them plus couple of dent I stupidly managed to create trying to get that stem out

Anyone wants it? Slough based, can stick it in shed for a while

That's real smart. Has over BB guides yet a pip on the head tube so has been refinished at some time. Seat stays look a bit Woodrup ish designed after one of their track riders wanted it that way. :)

According to the original owner it was build at basement of FW Evans in their Waterloo shop in 1978, then refurbed by B Jackson in early 90s. Stamped 531 7EO and 123

It has drilled lugs which is my era :) think Aende and Alf Engers lol

If you would stick it in a box and send it my way I'd be happy to accept that you make say £120 out it the deal.

What a great frame, absolutely begging for a little work to bring it back to life again. I loved the 531SL tubeset.
