Swapsies - Pinarello Dogma frameset for your Italian steel 🇮🇹

Morning friends,

I’ve got a Dogma 65.1 frameset (55) that is sitting unused currently.. I’ve got another bike which is getting way more road time and I figured I’m just never going to get this built up in the spec that it deserves.

It will come with a BB (of your choice, I have lots of semi-used BB’s), headset, seatpost.

However I have been on the search for a beautiful steel frameset for a while now that I can build up as a project over the winter then ride next summer. Thinking something with a lovely paint job. Gios, Boschetti, Guerciotti, Daccordi flavour? (Also in a 55cm) I am aware beggars can’t be choosers so I will consider anything, but it must be Columbus tubing.

Hopefully someone out there is looking to swap out to a modern lightweight carbon race machine and we could do a straight trade. I’m based in London so easy to meet anywhere central.

Additional picture. Also have all the fittings for mechanical, Di2, etap. The bike as pictured (with PDW guards) was around 7.8kg

had it built a few years ago but as i have a pegoretti and a winter disk bike it just never got ridden. geometry is based on a stock pegoretti 56 so no,weird angles. did a few miles on it (will check strava but not enough to wear out its first chain) it can come with a wheels MFG bb to take sram cranks if needed i asked for BSA bb but the italians decided to use a press fit BB shell instead!
frame has had half a can of dinotrol (framesaver) applied since new.
also have sram force22 brakes and some shifters to go with it if thats your thing."

Steel is certainly real, for a young timer like me I’ll certainly get some funny looks from friends on their disc carbon bikes but I’ve always had a soft spot for stuff like this:

I have a 90s Colnago master that I'm considering selling but unfortunately I find the Dogma one of the fugliest bikes ever made. I'm sure it rides brilliantly though

That is beautiful🔥 just make sure you drop your mates riding their carbon disc aero bikes on the climbs at every opportunity 😁

I've got this 55cm Basso Loto in Columbus SLX which I will be looking to part with soon. I would be looking to sell rather than swap - trying to downsize.

Some nice rides indeed. Here's a couple 55s in my roaster that are up for grabs, both frames a little lived.
Team VC Gualdese on a Columbus slx Moser frame, new ish campy specs on it
Basso fully campy not columbus though.
But not interested in the Pinnarello, would be looking to sell.

I've got a Coppi Lugano in oversized Columbus Genius if it's of any interest, with or without the bits (Potenza, Zondas, Nitto). I can obviosly take some better pictures but this thread on Retrobike shows an identical frame
