Hybrid/Rigid MTB/90s MTB for missus

Looking for a bike for the missus see we can tow the kids about and take bike rides to parks. She used to have a Sirrus before we had kids, but it got stolen. She's 5"6-5"7 so something 50-52cm would suit, as long as she can sit upright and there's clearance for at least 40mm tyres for a plush ride. Ideally not to pricey as it's just to get the kids about for days out. What you got? Willing to collect anywhere in London.

I've got an alloy framed ladies bike built from bits off an old boardman set up 11 speed Shimano metera if your interested?

I've got a small 90s Kona Fire Mountain. Pretty tatty but does a great job. Bombproof wheelset (XT/Hope Pro 2 to Mavic rims), rear rack.

Looks good, but was hoping for something with gears as I'll also be using it to tow trailer with the kids on board. I doubt I've the legs to do that without lower gearing. Glws

The single speed is already in a low-ish gear, but it actually already has a 6-cog cassette at the back and I have the rear derailleur that was on it before :) will be very straightforward to convert to a geared setup.

But I do understand if you aren't interested! No problem.

Great - I do think it sounds ideal for what you're looking for, might just take a bit of fiddling about to get it perfect for use. I know the previous owner used it to cart children around! Anyway feel free to DM and like I say, happy to take offers.

I have this - bought it from @hanuman on here a couple of months or more ago for my son, and it turned out he wanted a road bike instead, so it’s been sat in the garage since. £90, which is what I paid for it.
