Don't chris King use oil instead of grease?

You could google that and find the answer. The answer being full synthetic grease. They'd say Blue Chris King grease.
I've been using grease on CK headsets for at least twenty years without issue...Edit - I've heard of pro dh mountain bikers using oil in CK hub bearings instead of grease for reduced drag. Maybe thats what you're thinking of?

I think this...
Chris King 1" 1/8 headset in what I think was called Pewter or gun metal?
Just spent the last hour or so servicing the bearings. Stripped, degreased then absolutely packed full of fresh grease.
Includes bolt and crown race not pictured. Race is still on the fork.
