Mid/Late 90s Muddy Fox Adventurer.

Selling on behalf of my father in law. 18" Mid/ late 90s Muddy Fox Adventurer.

Pretty much as stock:
Cro Mo Frame with cool wishbone seat stays
Full Acera x 3x7 Groupset
170mm chainset
Shimano RM40 Hubs laced to Ritchey Vantage Sport Rims
Muddy Fox/MFX Finishing Kit + Bar Ends
Pretty much new conti double fighter tyres.

Frame has a few scratches and a bit of surface rust but no dings or dents.
I've been using it for the school run over the last week and its great fun, pretty quick and responsive and makes me feel like a teenager. Good mechanical condition with sharp shifts and brakes.

Couple of bad points.
The bottom bracket is a bit notchy, it could probably do with repacking with grease or replacing in the next six months but square taper BBs are cheap
Not currently shifting into the big ring, I think it just needs a new gear cable and some gentle fettling.

Strong wanker hybrid potential with this I reckon. Cover it in anodised bits and middleburn and get quiet nods of approval at the school gates
Or just a decent lock up and leave pub/station bike.

Looking for £100 but let me know if that's way off.

What height is it set up for now?

It was set up with the stem and seatpost far too high for my giant father in law. I’ve knocked the stem and saddle down a bit for me at 6ft and it’s fine to ride. I’ve not really set it up though.

There’s movement either way on the stem and saddle.
